THERE IS NO HURT anymore

Only an endless remembering of Colour and Sound,

Shimmering, landing shapes and patterns through the soft tissue of her temporary skin.

🎶🎵🎶

But it never stays here.

As skin sheds

To peel away into dust 

and land back upon the earth

🎶🎵🎶

To be trodden underfoot by my grandchild’s grandchild grandchild grandchild 🎶🎶

These bones will lay me down and fossilise all the travels of my life, which will become the bones of the Earth.

All My feeling will become her.

All my journeys will make her matter.

🎶🎵🎶

My heart is soft.

It will beat a rhythm through my life, and then stop.
