This is one of those classical guitar pieces that many people request. Always beautiful and well received, it fits perfectly within numerous programmes. Recorded on location near Three Cliffs Bay in Wales, the gardens of this grand house create an ideal setting for this piece. This performance was captured during a ‘break’ while filming the music video for my song ‘Chamomile Tea’, which you can enjoy on YouTube, Vimeo, or right here on my website's ‘Music Video’ page at the top of the page. This piece was composed by Patrick Lee, and with the melodic lines sketched out, I arranged it for classical guitar. Animating the melodic lines and adapting them to the voice of the guitar allows them to ring out beautifully. This is the second of two pieces Patrick wrote during Christmas time. We collaborated closely and completed them within just a few days. Both pieces were premiered at the Bunagee Guitar Festival in 2025, where they were also captured in music videos by Manus. Additionally, Deborah Leigh covers these compositions, bringing them to a wider audience.
This is the second of two pieces composed by Patrick Lee and arranged for classical guitar by myself. It is one of my favorites—throughout my exploration of harmony placements as harmonics, the ethereal quality of this Christmas snow-dance truly captured my heart and imagination. I love the sense it evokes, reminiscent of the ‘snowman’ theme in a magical sense that takes me back to childhood!
